Andrew's 2nd Birthday I

We think we have succeeded in thoroughly confusing Andrew for the holiday-birthday thing. He has pretty much been opening presents and eating cake since he grandparents visit over Thanksgiving. The other day, right before his fourth birthday celebration, he said Merry Christmas Mommy, Happy New Year Daddy. So, he's a little confused, but I'm sure he'll figure it our soon. Or he'll just think its party time from mid-November through Mid-January...
Anyway, here is his first 2nd birthday celebration. His Oma and Grandpa had a party for him in Hammond on Jan 2nd, right before we headed home to San Jose.

Here he is playing with his friend Abby. They had a lot of fun racing around the house together.

No birthday is complete without a Thomas the Train hat, of course. Lots of trains this year. He received a brio train from his grandparents for Christmas, and Daddy and Grandpa set up the LGB train under the Christmas tree. And of course, there are the train sets in the basement, and then there is Thomas the train. This kiddo is going to think that the world revolves around trains.

Mmm, more cake. With sprinkles on it, just like his Daddy likes:)

Reading a story with Oma. Andrew received some Richard Scarry stories from his grandparents, and he likes to look at all the details.
