Ducks, Football, and Clean Air
Andrew has taken a renewed interest in ducks. He woke up the other morning, and insisted Drew give him the ducks from his stuffed toy basket before he left the bed. Since then he has been having fun cuddling his stuffed ducky and musical stuffed ducky and playing with his rubber ducky as well. He has been doing lots of talking, in one word phrases, and it is very cute and very distinct when he says "duck".
He has also taken a liking to his Purdue Football, running up and down the hallway with it under his arm, throwing it and kicking it. Which is good, because his dad likes to make sure and balance lots of manly things like tools and footballs with all the cuddly-wuddly business! And he calls this his "footkick". It is hard to correct him because it is so cute how he says it:)
And to those of you who had followed previous blogs where we discussed the smelly business of the diaper champ, we finally found a more permanent solution: the First Years Clean air diaper disposer. The diaper champ was sooo smelly, and we didn't want to do the diaper genie because you have to keep getting those individual diaper cartridges. This works better than either one for us. It uses the regular 13 gallon kitchen bags, but has a battery operated fan and carbon filter. Its operation is silent. And best of all, we take the bags out once a week-no smell! Of course the filter has to be replaced every 90 days, so I'll have to let you know how easy those are to find...
