Oma becomes a citzen, Visiting Great-Grandparents, Superman

We just had another whirlwind trip to Indiana. Andrew's Oma decided to finally go through with becoming a US citizen. We all got to be there to witness the proceedings, which went smoothly except for Oma being mistaken for a Serbian male.

This didn't stop Andrew from enjoying the celebratory balloons however.

We then went over to Plymouth and visited with Andrew's great-grandparents, as well as his great-aunt Brenda, great-uncle Mark and his uncle Mike and cousin Tatiana and cousin's Garrison and Grant. He read some stories with Great-Grandma Joyce, and played with stickers.

On the way back to Hammond we decided to pick up a pumpkin. Then it was time to help Uncle Adam build a fire.

Super-Andrew to the rescue.

Mom headed back to California for work, and Dad headed off to Purdue to do a little business, so Andrew was alone for two days with Oma and Grandpa. Sounds like he had a blast, looking at trains and going to parks. Here he is chilling with Grandpa.
