Santa Cruz

Alright, I am hopelessly behind on the blog, so I'll just start with something recent. We went to Santa Cruz for the long weekend with Oma and Grandpa. We had been wanting to visit the beach boardwalk, and there are some nice parks there too. We had a lot of fun, the boardwalk was like a mini-amusement park, which was tons of fun for Andrew, he still talks about it. Natural bridges park was nearby, and had a neat rocky area that had tide pools. The trip was a fun way to spend the holiday weekend together, and was nice and close by. Here are a few highlights of the weekend:

Beach boardwalk. It took Andrew a little while to get comfortable, I think he thought we were going to put him on one of the big kid rides.


We ran into one of Andrew's daycare buddies while we were there. They had fun riding the boats.


Her older brother volunteered to ride along with them, this pic cracks me up because it looks like he is chaperoning them!!

Andrew absolutely loved the truck train. Apparently he talked about it in daycare the next week practically non-stop.


Relaxing in bed with Oma. This kid loves to relax. And boy is he spoiled.
